How Can This Be True – AMX/Crestron?

Hello, Everyone

I’ve been trying to figure out how many individuals are currently certified as an AMX Solutions Master and a Gold Crestron Certified Programmer as well.

Based on what AMX management told me regarding my AMX certifications, I currently hold more AMX certifications than anyone else.

Not even AMX direct employees have been to as many AMX training classes as I have.

I am extremely honored and humbled….Can This Be True?

So I am wondering how many individuals in the Audio/Video industry have all of their AMX certifications ( including AMX Solutions Master ) and a Crestron Gold programming certification too.

I have asked Crestron and AMX and they are not aware of any other individuals – besides myself.

I find this somewhat hard to believe so I’m asking around on social media.   Any thoughts ?

WOW – This is amazing!

Based on my feedback so far, no one else is completely AMX certified (that has completed all of AMX courses/certification) and a Crestron Gold (or higher) Certified Programer too.

Thank you, Joel for the feedback. I am extremely grateful and it is a lot of hard work — working & training. I believe some of it is cultural – what a person got used to when they got into the A/V industry. So besides the technical / programming aspects of it, the cultural side makes it even more difficult to achieve both levels of certifications.

Darren, you have a good point. I was the 47th Crestron Gold certified programmer in September, 2015. The number of Crestron Gold Master Programmers are probably somewhere around 50. So I can see out of 50 people how I can be the only fully AMX certified person. This is a great honor to be the only Crestron Gold Certified Programmer and completely AMX certified as well.
